This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Marin. The portions are very generous, the prices competitive and the taste pretty authentic without being too pungent or strong. It seems there's a lot of care with the preparation of the food. Even their to-go containers are microwave friendly, making it so convenient to enjoy at home.
I have been coming to ping's for years now and have always had a pleasant experience. I've been doing more takeout recently and haven't been disappointed! The Food is flavorful, the portions are pretty good and it always comes out in a timely manner! Would recommend pings to anybody looking for a new Chinese spot!
This restaurant is located in San Rafael in nice strip mall. The restaurant seems to be steady with their lunch crowds and more than likely because of their lunch plate menu whether it be a rice plate or noodle dish. You also get bowl of hot n sour soup. The servers instantly bring you tea and ice water. The service is too almost because once you order, you're given the soup and before eating half the soup, your lunch plate arrives. The restaurant is definitely pumping the food out as well as the customers LOL....once you've been given your meal then your get the check. The server will swipe the check and return it to you, but as far as checking in while you're still eating your meal to see if everything is good. That is not going to happen. But all in all, I've been there 3 days in row and will continue to go again while I'm out of town working. Good food, fair prices and good/clean restaurant.
